Every plant in our shop is chosen with intention. We regularly travel to specialty growers in Florida to hand-select healthy, high-quality plants for our customers. That means our inventory is always changing, and every visit offers the opportunity to discover something new.
From easy-care favorites and tropical houseplants to rare collector specimens, we focus on quality, health, and plants we truly believe in.

That's why education is at the heart of everything we do.
We love helping customers choose the right plant for their home, troubleshoot plant problems, build custom soil mixes, and learn the skills that help their collections thrive.
Throughout the year we also host hands-on workshops including terrariums, orchid repotting, carnivorous bog bowls, fairy gardens, botanical crafts, and other creative events designed to make learning fun.

More Than Just a Plant Shop
Meet Laura
Hi, I'm Laura—the owner of Main Street Botanicals.
If you've spent any time in the shop, chances are we've talked about plants, admired a new leaf together, or you've caught me rearranging the store for the hundredth time.
Main Street Botanicals started with a simple idea: create the kind of plant shop I always wished existed. A place where everyone feels welcome, questions are encouraged, and no one has to pretend they already know everything about houseplants.
For years, I built this business while working a full-time career, spending evenings, weekends, and vacation days growing the shop one plant at a time. Today, every corner of Main Street Botanicals reflects what I love most—helping people discover plants they love, learn how to care for them, and build confidence as plant parents.
One of my favorite parts of owning the shop is traveling to specialty growers in Florida to personally hand-select plants for our customers. I love the hunt for unique varieties, but I also enjoy bringing home healthy, beautiful everyday houseplants that anyone can grow and enjoy.
I'm a firm believer that buying a plant should come with more than a receipt. It should come with advice, encouragement, and someone you can turn to when you have questions. That's why education is such a big part of what we do, from one-on-one conversations in the shop to workshops, plant care resources, and community events throughout the year.
